About Us
Russells Technical Products began when Russells Refrigeration Co., a commercial and industrial refrigeration sales and service company, was acquired in 1972 by Mr. Donald Bench. Since then, Russells has been designing and manufacturing environmental test systems and providing a comprehensive and varied product line including both pre-engineered and custom/specialty chambers. This has allowed Russells to attract and retain the technical expertise required in this field. Mr. Bench has been in the environmental test chamber manufacturing business since the 1950's starting with Conrad Inc., one of the original pioneering companies in this industry. Mr. Bench served Conrad as Chief Engineer and later becoming its President.
Russells' management team has over 150 years experience in the design and manufacture of environmental test chambers and systems. Russells' personnel are qualified and skilled in all phases of the design and manufacturing process. Its business philosophy is to operate self-sufficiently in terms of utilizing modest but functional facilities and equipment to maintain a low overhead structure and enhance the value of its products. It owns its manufacturing facilities and capital equipment such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, electrical, refrigeration and painting equipment in order to maintain closer control and quality of these operations than if sub-contracted to outside suppliers.
Today, Russells is poised for future growth. With its seasoned yet innovative management team, a brand new state-of-the-art facility, a strong product line, and a dedicated work force, Russells can provide its customers with the best solution for their environmental testing chamber needs.

Facility
Russells' operations are conducted in a 40,000 square foot high-tech facility with an additional 80,000 square feet available for expansion. Russells' maintains its own sheet metal equipment, welders, lift trucks, paint booth, etc.

Ranges from $5-15 million per year.
Engineering
AutoCAD computer aided drafting is used for all phases of our engineering design.
Quality
The quality team includes members from manufacturing, test, office and engineering staff. Inspection is made in all departments during construction and prior to shipment.

Announcement of New Headquarters Facility
Russells Technical Products, Inc. has opened a new facility in Holland, Michigan. This new state-of-the-art facility features 40,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space. Russells manufactures a complete line of high quality environmental test chambers and systems for a global market. Russells environmental test chambers are used in a diverse number of industries including automotive, consumer, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and government. This facility will allow Russells to expand its product line, along with gaining additional manufacturing capacity. Russells has conducted business in Holland since 1972.
Supplier of the Year Award - Harris Communication
 HOLLAND, MI, : Harris Corporation, (NYSE: HRS) Government Communications Systems Division, Melbourne, FL, today announced that Russells Technical Products, Inc. has won the 2004 Harris Supplier Excellence Small Business Supplier of the Year. Harris is an international communications equipment company focused on providing product, system and service solutions for commercial and government customers. Russells has a long term relationship with Harris in providing environment test equipment. In 2004, Russells supplied Harris with a 2880 cu. ft. Modular Walk-in temperature chamber with liquid nitrogen cooling and a solararray. Russells designed, built, delivered and installed this chamber in less than eight weeks.
Russells Receives UL 508A Certification
Russells Technical Products, Inc. has achieved UL 508A certification for industrial control panels on all of its pre-engineered Elite G-Series Chambers. This also includes all Elite G-Series PCU units. This certification was issued on 2/19/07 on report #3110004CLE-002 from Intertek Testing Services Inc. This certification will allow Russells to be more competitive on their pre-engineered chambers.

Russells Introduces New Cooling Tunnel Product Russells Technical Products has introduced a new product for the cooling of hose and cable during production. This cooling process makes the high pressure hose more rigid allowing the layers of metal wire to be more uniformly applied. Russells Cooling Tunnels can cool a wide range of hose and cable from 3/8" to over 2" diameter, within a 10 ft. length. Russells' unique design incorporates a unique airflow system using mechanical refrigeration only.
