Moisture build-up can be very damaging to a many products, especially electronics, causing corrosion and oxidation. Conversely, low humidity levels can cause brittleness in products. Russells walk-in modular temperature and humidity chambers allow manufacturers to see how their product will perform in 10% to 95% relative humdity, although temperature and humidity levels can be customized. We've designed our test chambers to be configurable into a wide variety of temperature and humidity testing modes. Chamber reliability has been a Russells hallmark since 1972, with all chamber parts and components offering maximum resistance to the moisture corrosion combined with extreme conditions.

Temperature/Humidity Cabinet Features

• Floor loaded capacity: 600 lbs/ft (2900 kg/m2) even distributed. Stationary and rolling point (caster) loads must be distributed with spreader plates
• Modular chamber construction: foam insulation core "sandwiched" between medal interior and exterior skins
• Available wall panel finishes: galvanized steel, steel with baked enamel, embossed aluminum, stainless steel
• Wall insulation: urethane foam, low (0.13) "K" factor, (isocyanurate optional)
• Available wall thickness: 4"(100 mm), 5" (125 mm)
• Available chamber doors: from 2-0 x 6-8 (610 mm x 2030 mm) personnel access doors to double leaf of horizontal sliding doors to accomodate even large vehicles

• Temperature range:
  Single stage refrigeration: -13°F (-25° C) to 185° F (85° C)
• Cascade refrigeration:
  -100°F (-73° C) to 185°F (85° C)
• Humidity range:
  10% to 95% RH within the bounds of a 40 °F (4° C) minimum dewpoint and a 185° F (85° C) dry bulb temperature

Available Options

• Floor load spreader plate or vehicle tracks.
• Floor screeds for attachment of "floorless" chamber to existing building floor.
