Altitude Chambers - Altitude/Humidity/Temperature Test Chambers - Vacuum Chambers

The RH-Series

Altitude simulation testing is important for manufacturers of products that might be shipped via air. It is especially important for defense and aerospace applications where pressure and vacuum conditions are even more intense. Russells RH-Series altitude/temperature and altitude/temperature/humidity chambers offer performance flexibility and reliablility for today's mixed-environment testing requirement. Our altitude test chambers control the temperature environment for testing your product while simulating various altitude environments from site level to 100,000 feet. The same chamber can be used to simulate temperature and humidity. Russells Altitude Chambers now meet RTCA DO-160 cat. B test specifications. Also meeting MIL-STD-810G, rapid decompression for avionics cabin pressure testing. We can simulate rapid pressure change from 15,000 to 70,000 feet in 15 seconds with high-speed data compression.

Russells RH-Series chambers can provide the following combinations of controlled testing environments:

  • Altitude
  • Temperature
  • Temperature and Altitude (temperature controllable to 65,000 ft./20,000 m)
  • Temperature and Humidity
  • RTCA DO-160 icing & various other combined environment test

Russells RH-Series altitude chambers are available in sizes from 8 cu ft (225 L) to walk-in size. A Russells application engineer can assist you in selecting the altitude chamber configuration and size that's best for you or we can custom design any standard test altitude chamber configurations.
